So sorry I’ve been so busy and unable to post songs, album reviews or deep thoughts this week but TGIF everyone!
When I heard Silversun Pickups were coming out with a new album I was pretty excited. Don’t get me wrong when I give this review — I like this song and I’m excited to hear the rest of the album. It’s just this song is more pop-rock than atmospheric rock which is what I’ve come to expect from them (hence my disappointment). Regardless, it’s catchy and in typical Silversun Pickups fashion the lyrics are hauntingly deep.
And on that note, before I go too far down the rabbit hole of symbolism and emotion HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!
